New requirements for schools and places of assembly

The summer holidays are over, many pupils back in their homeland. School has just resumed. In Germany, as in many other countries, Covid19 case numbers are rising again. The influence of young age groups, mostly still of school age, is increasing. In this context, the question arises to what extent current and future classrooms and their ventilation systems will meet the new requirements?

Many questions inevitably arise about the future school operation mode. How will school operations be organised, especially in the cold seasons? Will the highly contagious mutations of infectious pathogens determine the infection events in school operations? Is there a possibility of school operation in classrooms without wearing a restrictive protective mask?
The influence of young age groups, mostly still of school age, on the incidence of infection is increasing, as the following diagram shows.

The energy turnaround will force school operators to use ventilation technology in classrooms in the future for the purpose of saving energy, regardless of the pandemic requirements. In the future, the installation of HVAC systems will also be eligible for funding. What solutions does ventilation technology offer to return to a regulated and safe school operation? How can room ventilation systems be subjected to a quality inspection?
